Are the exam dates in this playbook official?
Every date is either the CBSE's own confirmed date or is clearly labelled as expected, with the reason. As of October 2026 the 2027 date sheet had not been released; the playbook explains the expected window and the Board's stated planning rule, and tells you to confirm on cbse.gov.in.
Does it cover both Class 10 and Class 12?
Yes. Sections 1 to 4 apply to both classes, and Sections 5 and 6 give separate subject playbooks for Class 10 (Maths, Science, Social Science, English, Hindi) and Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, English).

Will the 2027 paper pattern change?
No. CBSE confirmed in a 21 September 2026 circular that there is no change in the question-paper design or assessment pattern for 2026-27, and that the passing criteria stay the same as 2025-26.
